Information security and privacy within education

The Norms Framework for Information Security and Privacy Funderend Onderwijs (IBP FO) was developed specifically to support schools in securing personal data and strengthening their information security. It has since been announced that educational institutions must meet the set standards within this Framework of Standards by the end of 2027. The IBP FO provides concrete guidelines for digitally safe schools, including concrete example measures that the education sector can implement.

Implementing the IBP Framework of Standards in education offers several benefits:
