What will you do?
As an Information Security consultant, you will support clients with ISO 27001 compliance and implementation. Your duties include the following:
🔍 Advise your own clients on measures they can take to improve security.
🧠 Raise awareness among your customers about threats and developments in information security.
🛡️ Conduct internal audits to ensure information security.
📢 S upervise trainees and help them grow in the field.
🚀 Help shape our company’s strategy and growth by contributing ideas about our (new) services.

What do you bring?
🎓 Higher professional education or university education mindset.
🔐 Interest in information security, privacy, and AI.
🗣️ Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
🌍 Good command of the Dutch and English languages.
🖥️ Experience in consulting or information security is an advantage, but not a requirement!

Here's how you're going to learn
Before you really get started, we want to make sure you’re fully prepared. During our onboarding process, you’ll learn everything you need to know to approach your first client with confidence. Don’t worry if you don’t know everything yet—we’re here to bring you up to speed!
- Get a taste of the culture, and get to know your colleagues and operations
- You will be paired with a colleague, your buddy
- You are going to be introduced to ISO 27001
- Buddy track- join your buddy in implementations he/she is running
- You will take courses from ISO 27001
- You will attend Lead Auditor training.
- You will start with a practice implementation within Fendix
- Feedback moments with buddy
- You will finalize and complete courses
- You walk with your buddy at his clients' homes
- You complete the practice implementation
- You will receive feedback and an improvement session for your practice implementation
- Your confidence in your own abilities rises and you find that you begin to feel a need for your own clients and responsibility.
- In addition to being a consultant, you will develop as an auditor by performing internal audits independently, among other things.
- The final touches! You will mainly be practicing at customer sites and going with colleagues to practice running an implementation independently
- Welcome on board! You are now officially a consultant and of course we are going to celebrate!

- You will start with a practice implementation within Fendix.
- You will go along to the customer. Together with your buddy you will perform your first implementations.
- In addition to your initial work, you will continue to gain knowledge by taking the cyber security course.
- You get more and more responsible and start working out policies.
- When you go to the customer with your buddy you prepare for the meeting.
- Feedback moments with buddy
- You complete the first buddy projects together.
- You will learn how to perform services such as internal audits, gap analysis and phishing tests.
- You will be assigned your first official client and get to run your own project.
- In addition, you will further develop as an auditor and consultant by conducting internal audits independently.
- The final steps! You run your own clients and evaluate with your buddy about experiences.
- Welcome on board! You are now officially a junior consultant and of course we are going to celebrate!
- Just take the key to your car!
